MISSING SINGAPORE

Parece que el Otoño frío y lluvioso de Fontainebleau se ha instalado definitivamente...
para mi desgracia, claro está !!!
las dos primeras semanas en Francia han sido geniales, llenas de reencuentros, descubriendo nuevos lugares, costumbres y disfrutando de los paisajes realmente espectaculares que ofrecen los bosques de Fontainebleau y alrededores...
mmmm...pero ahora, después de este tiempo, creo que ya tengo suficiente...echo muchísimo de menos Singapur...la amabilidad de la gente, el verano perpetuo, los paseos por el centro, el "pequeño" campus de Insead, la skypool, los amigos que dejamos allí, nuestro piso en One North, las BBQ, las fiestas en el New Asia Bar, los vinitos en Wine Connection, las cenas en Dempsey Hill...etc...en fin, son tantas las cosas que hemos dejado atrás que ahora me pregunto si realmente ha valido la pena. Supongo que sí, que teníamos que vivir la "Fonty experience" al menos por un periodo, pero realmente a veces pienso en cómo es posible que haya estudiantes y partners que hayan estado aquí tooooodo el año !!! realmente deprimente !!!...bueno, creo que por eso hay tantísimos bebés y niños en este campus ;))


It seems like the cold and rainy fall is finally settled in Fontainebleau...unfortunately for me !!!!
the two first weeks in France had been absolutely fantastic, discovering new places and custom, meeting old friends again, and enjoying the really amazing landscapes of the forest in Fontainebleau and surroundings...
mmmmmm...but now, after this time, I guess it's enough for me...I miss soooo much Singapore...the kindness of people, the summer weather, the strolls around downtown, the "tiny" Insead campus, the skypool, all friends we left there, our flat in One North, the BBQ's, the parties at New Asia Bar, wines at Wine Connection, dinners at Dempsey Hill...etc...
anyway, there are so many things we left behind that now I'm wondering if it's worth it . I guess that we had to live the "Fonty experience" at least for one period, but , honestly, I cannot figure out how some students and partners have been living here the whooooole year !!! it's just so depressing , you have nothing to do !!!...well, I think that's why there are plenty of babies and children in this campus ;))
